UV lash extensions, also called LED lashes, are a type of eyelash extension application that uses a specialized UV light to instantly cure the adhesive bonding the extensions to your natural lashes, resulting in a faster application process and potentially better retention compared to traditional lash adhesives that air dry; essentially, the glue is activated and sets immediately upon exposure to the UV light, eliminating concerns about humidity or slow drying times.
You should schedule a lash fill appointment every 2-3 weeks to maintain a full set of eyelash extensions, as this is the typical timeframe when a noticeable amount of natural lashes will have shed and need to be replaced with new extensions during a fill appointment.
With my new services being time related though, it is completely up to you on when you would like to come back in !
The answer is NO! Eyelash extensions can only damage your natural lashes if they are applied incorrectly or if they are too heavy. However, when applied correctly and cared for properly, they shouldn't cause harm at all !
Depending on a few factors such as how fast of a lash cycle does one have, how many natural lashes there are, and how well does one take care of their lashes. We recommend coming back every 2-3 weeks to keep them looking fresh. Waiting too long will cause the lashes to twist and hang after they grow out to a certain point.
We encourage you not to wear mascara on the extensions themselves, this could cause them to fall off early and the coating it leaves will make it hard for your lash tech to fill them cause more fall out. You can wear eye shadow but must make sure to clean them immediately after use.
